BEAUTIFUL FANTASY WORLD
Poem BY JOHNNY TAI – SMILE TIGER OR JST

Performed By: The CAT
Note From Author:
The words are slightly re-arranged in the song to fit the melody.
After the rain’s stopped, what happen to the teardrops?
They silently subside, becoming mist in the sky…
After a life’s gone by, can we still say goodbye?
Will we still weep in sorrow, unable to let it go?
After the thunderstorm, will we behold our rainbow?
Will the stars shine forever, lasting for a billion years?
After losing the battle, are we still their heroes?
Is glory an ever-lasting flame, shielding you from all the blames?
After the nightfall, is it still worthwhile
To write with your eyes closed, walking down that dying road?
Painting a halo on to a bishop or castle,
Does it make them more superior, giving them extraordinary power?
Putting an angel into a perfumed brothel,
Does it bound her soul to hell, and make her smile evil?
Handing you a wineglass, does it make you a higher class?
Will the blood wash away the dusts on your name?
Writing a poem, telling all that you know,
Does it earn you respects, or give you success?
Bringing her a flower, does it buy you a lover?
Will her joy float away as her rose slowly fade?
When you crucify me, will you blink as I bleed?
May I mouth my final word, the unfinished curse?
There’s a beautiful fantasy world, deep in our souls.
There we can smile, we can cry, and dream all the time.
Don’t ask me what’s true or false in this beautiful fantasy world.
There’s no reason in fantasy,as long as you believe.
Don’t telll me where I have to go to find my beautiful fantasy world!
Your myth of silver and gold might not be mine after all.
Many of us got lost on the way to that beautiful fantasy world.
Why do you pretend not to se that you’re the only one with the key?
After I stop writing, is the poem then ending?
Will my readers dislike my legend, or continue watering my garden?
