George L. Goodfellow started his musical career as a singer/songwriter back when life was in black and white and color was someting you had or didn't have in your cheeks. He played along side "The Seekers" (yes it was that long ago), with Gerry (Baker Street) Rafferty, who taught George how to open tune a guitar and with Billy Connelly who bought a "G" string from George leaving George with an eleven string guitar for the evening. The GLG band started life in 2003 through a series of coincidences, mainly being in the right place at the right time and being lucky enough to say the right thing at the right time to the right people. Since then they have written and produced three albums that have a Country/Folk feel about them with lyrics and melodies that seem to stick in your head for ever, and although George believes that music should be fun, some of these lyrics do make you think, while still tapping your feet along to the catchy melody. Some people say that their life is an unkown mystery lying ahead of them, while others think that fate will take them on their way, George and the GLG band think that you should just take care and try to enjoy the journey.
