Bio:

Bluedan's Biography.

Gareth James, born in Saint James, Jamaica, WI., grew up in the countryside, spent most of his early childhood on his Dad's Farm. Educated at the Vaughansfield Primary, Maldon Technical, Montego Bay Community College, Jamaica Commercial Institute.
The white sand beaches were his favorite playgrounds to visit. Favorite hobbies were swimming, fishing, soccer ball, cricket and bird hunting, using a sling shot called a “Catapult” in Jamaican.
During his late teens Gareth performed as an apprentice DJ and singer on a small sound system in the area. In his early 20's Gareth decided that the country life was too slow to progress and went to the city of Montego Bay where he became employed in the Tourists Industry in some of the major hotel chains in Rose Hall, Montego Bay.
He socialized with the tourists from all walks of life, understanding their accents and learning their cultures, while staying positive with fellow Jamaicans. The waterfront, the beaches, and the nightlife were a dream come true.
In the mid-90's Gareth migrated to the United States of America and became employed in the financial industry. Music was one of the dreams had to come true. In 2008 he headway into music and published his first album, “Bluedan Resume featuring Lorraine,” copyright and released in August of 2008.
Now that the possibilities are ventured, Gareth's views are to share his inspirational memories to open the hearts of many, and to cherish the souls of all that love and appreciate the joy of music--Now and Forever. Cheers to “Lorraine” on her debut with Bluedan!
